Most of us would have heard about this topic somewhere in the media. There even exists a movie with the same name. Coming to the point, Area 51 is actually found to be the nick name or a secret name used to denote a vast military base located at Western part of United States. This place is highly secure and severe action is taken on anyone trespasses this place. Many nations had an eye on this place and they were trying to find out what it is actually, using satellites and radars. The site is located exactly to the south of Groom Lake. As far we know, Area 51 is supposed to be a secretive military base and training field. But many scientists claim that the site includes vast underground laboratories and testing centres where various secret researches are going on as top secrets. Moreover it is said that NASA has a major role in the development of Area 51. Scientists also claim that there are many discoveries done here and that they are not exposed to the world. But no one could give a proper explanation about Area 51 and the story seems to be a rumour. But who knows what lies beneath the sand.
